How Forces Help to Buy works

Forces Help to Buy is a scheme provided by the Government that aims to support the Armed Forces onto the home ownership ladder.

The scheme allows applicants to borrow up to 50% of their salary, up to a maximum of £25,000. This can be used towards a deposit and other costs such as solicitor’s and estate agent’s fees.

Eligibility criteria

The scheme is available to regular Armed Forces personnel.
