The A1 or M1 are both routes into the Yorkshire coast, running close to York in North Yorkshire.
Good road links are in place from the A64 which provides easy access to Scarborough from Leeds and York. Other main roads include the A171 Middlesborough – Whitby – Scarborough road, along with the A165 Scarborough – Hull road and the A170 Scarborough to Thrisk Road.
Commuters are well served with Scarborough Railway Station offering hourly services to and from Leeds (one hour and 25 minutes) and Manchester (two hours and 20 minutes) as well as offering connections to various other destinations around the UK.
Durham Tees International Airport is the nearest airport to Cayton and takes around an hour and 40 minutes to reach. It offers a range of domestic and international flights.
