The same goes for secondaries Northampton School for Boys and Northampton School for Girls, while local independent St Andrew’s College is also highly regarded. 

How are the Northampton transport links?

Northampton is served by a comprehensive bus network, with the Northampton Buzz Card offering unlimited travel on most local services. The train station is in the heart of town where St James’ Road meets St Andrew’s Road, and offers services to both London and Birmingham which take around an hour. If you have a car, the M1 motorway passes conveniently close to town, while a number of international airports are within an hour’s drive. 

What is the Northampton property scene like?

Northampton has a good supply of terraced properties which sell for less than the town’s average price, which is a little lower than the national average. You can also find some superb 3 and 4 bedroom new build homes in the village of Moulton on the northern outskirts of town, as well as in the Earls Barton area to the east.
