York’s main train stop is on Station Road and offers a large selection of local and regional services, in addition to routes to other parts of the country. There are plenty of buses you can use to get around, while there’s a park and ride service for getting into the city centre. The A1(M) and M62 motorways both pass close to town, while the closest airport is Leeds Bradford around 30 miles away.
